I’m a Productivity Ninja and mental health advocate who helps people spot exactly what’s been quietly holding them back, and finally move past it.
Somewhere along the way, capable people stop moving. They haven’t lost the skill or the will, something in them has just slowed. I see it constantly: a leader who knows exactly what needs to happen and still can’t make the call, a team that agrees on the plan in the room and then never does the thing.
It usually looks like a strategy problem. Most of the time, it’s something else: a dynamic nobody’s brave enough to name, or a fear nobody’s said out loud. Once that gets acknowledged, people move fast. They almost always had what they needed. What they didn’t have was someone willing to ask the harder question.
That’s what I get to do in a room: rarely answer the question people bring me, more often ask why that’s the question they’re asking in the first place. It isn’t always a gentle question, but people tell me that’s why it lands.
